It’s not news that the US government is going through a drastic renovation. However, I wanted to point out this particular bit of news as it pertains to some of the agencies that help manage ocean and coastal resources. The Department of the Interior (DOI) is about to make some big moves:
If you’re not familiar with the DOI, this includes USGS, the Bureau of Ocean and Energy Management (BOEM), the National Park Service (NPS), US Fish and Wildlife, and several others. A full list of agencies is here.
