I think the user should use the field “Licence” on the export to know what is the licence of the data as the original publisher shared it.
@victor that makes sense. More generally though, I think it would be wise to add in a licensing statement, or link, to the Data Access page that aligns with the information in the manual:
I will admit, that after reading that page, it’s not clear for a new user how to investigate and ensure you abide by the licenses declared in the EML, but not the Darwin Core that would be implicit in the parquet products. This sounds like a good blog post, next time I’m twiddling my thumbs.
