Mo' money for US grad students

Another opportunity for grad students (US citizens)!

The Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) awards the Raskin Scholarship annually to an individual in the Earth or computer sciences who has an interest in community evolution of Earth science data systems. Special attention will be given to applicants demonstrating an interest in semantics, GIS, cyberinfrastructure and computing in the geosciences.

Award: $5000 + attendance of ESIP summer meeting (Seattle, WA)
Deadline: March 14, 2025

Please note that even though some people don’t consider biology and ecology, ‘Earth Sciences’, ESIP does. I co-chair the Biological Data Standards cluster, and would be happy to give feedback to anyone who is interested in submitting.
